A rather unconventional public bathing spot by the sea, just north of Barcelona, the Fòrum bathing area has no sand. Instead, concrete platforms and steps lead straight into the salt water. The atmosphere is relaxed, and although it’s usually busy, it never feels crowded. Stretching over 300 metres, there’s space for everyone: to swim, sunbathe or simply read a book. It’s not the typical postcard view, but it’s the perfect place to unwind without leaving the city.

The area offers designated spaces for swimming and other activities, along with lifeguard and rescue services, which are usually in operation at the start of the bathing season.
