The Parc Natural del Montseny is a protected reserve of remarkable biological diversity, situated between Barcelona and Girona. Its trails wind through forests straight from a fairytale: mist-shrouded beech woods, oak groves and fir forests. The park is home to wild boar, birds, newts and other elusive creatures. Here, Mediterranean, Eurosiberian and Boreoalpine ecosystems intertwine like nowhere else.
