Dona i Ocell (Woman and Bird) is a monumental sculpture in concrete and ceramic in Parc de Joan Miró. Created by Joan Miró in collaboration with the ceramic artist Joan Gardy Artigas, it brings together a female figure and a bird, two recurring symbols in his work. Standing 22 metres high and covered in trencadís (broken tile mosaic) and vivid colours, it suggests a connection between earth and sky. Its organic forms and scale invite pause and contemplation.
