The Biblioteca Sant Gervasi – Joan Maragall is a public library dedicated to the literary legacy of Joan Maragall, one of the key voices in Catalan poetry. Its collection also includes a wide range of publications on books and reading. Partly underground, light filters in through lightwells, making the building feel both calm and open. It is a place to read, study or take a break, with lending services, study areas, language self-learning spaces and multimedia classrooms in a setting that balances contemporary architecture by BCQ with the quiet needed for reading.
