Parc de la Ciutadella

A walk through the park offers numerous possibilities, such as touching some sculptures, smelling the aromas of plants and flowers, listening to the birdsong, the birds of the lake or the music of the concerts that are held especially in spring and summer. Rowing boats can be rented on the lake. Guide dogs are allowed in the park, as well as in the buildings of the Hivernacle and the Umbracle.

All entrances to the park are accessible and, as it is a flat area, it is an ideal space for walking in a wheelchair. The paths in the park are barrier-free and are properly signposted. One of the jewels of the Ciutadella Park is the Hivernacle, an accessible area of ​​great heritage and natural value. Next to it is the Umbracle, which can also be visited and is especially pleasant for resting in the summer. It is a space with very large plants that need darkness and humidity. At the entrance door there is a small metal guide on the ground that can be easily saved, and then everything is flat and allows you to turn around comfortably. For families with children, inside the park you will find two highly recommended and accessible areas: the environmental play area called Laludo and a children's play area. The guingueta-bar-cafeteria in the area of ​​the waterfall and the lake has an adapted toilet.
